Solidarity Day with Kashmir

In the month of February every year, the day of Solidarity with Kashmir is celebrated all over the country. This day is celebrated in the memory of martyrs of Kashmir during the colonial rule. In this event, a part from the children of NHA center Shinkiari, women of the surrounding community also participated.

The day of Solidarity with Kashmir was also celebrated at NHA center Shinkiari on February 8, 2010. In this event, a part from the children of NHA center Shinkiari, women of the surrounding community also participated. The celebration of this year was emphasized on “Human Rights” for all. The learners who participated in the event presented different items to raise the awareness of the audience about the human rights and sacrifices of the martyrs of the Kashmir for Independence. In this event, learners presented speeches, poems and Drama performances on the subjects relevant to the day. A group of learners presented the performance of singing the National Songs. In the end the Center In charge shed the light on the importance of Kashmir day for the all the citizens of Pakistan. She also appreciated the children of NHA center who participated in the different performances.

The objective of this event was to raise the awareness about the women’s rights. Girls at both the centers presented different items such as Dramas, songs, speeches on this topic. The two programs finished at 1:00pm.   back
