Eid Millan Party

All the kids of the NHA center Shinkiari both male and female celebrated this event with their parents back their homes on November 27, 2009. The parents of the kids belong to the poor families who have very meager income. Hence kids did not have enough opportunities at their homes to enjoy even in the happy festival of Eid. In this regard an Eid Millan Party was celebrated on November 30, 2009 at the NHA Center Shinkiari. On this day, this celebration was made when the center was formally closed. In this event, seventy (70) children both boys and girls participated.

The objective of this event was to provide the kids of the center an opportunity of enjoyment, mirth and to create sense of intimacy amongst the children.

This event was organized by Ms. Rehana, the Center In charge Shinkiari along with the assistance of other staff members. Kids of the center both male and female had come in colorful clothes to participate enthusiastically in an Eid Milan party.

This event comprised activities such as plays, songs, dance, cooking and other similar activities which filled the heart of kids with full of pleasure.

The Kids of the center created an ambience of Eid with joy and ecstasy filled in the air where they not only enjoyed the company of their fellows, but also the sweets presented on the occasion. In the songs and dance competition, some of the staff members also participated with kids. Kids were so happy during performing different activities that it looked an Eid day.

All the kids had brought different food items which were then cooked for the preparation of their lunch. Some food items were contributed by the staff and shared it with the children. Children of different grades shared their dishes with each other which was an excellent gesture of unity and affection for each other.

This event relieved the kids by giving them feelings of solace after the tedious academic activities and created a sense of intimacy amongst the children of the NHA center Shinkiari.   back
