Gulshifa and Gulnaz is daughter of M. Younas. This family was residing in Bakki Nala, a village about 25km from NHA Shinkiari, before earthquake. Bakki Nala is a remote village and one has to travel a distance of an hour, on foot to reach this village. This family has total five members. Guardian of this family Mr. M Younas was severely injured in the 8th October earthquake, his spinal cord got major injuries and now he is disabled and cannot walk without stick. He is unable to do any work for earning livelihood due to his physical disability and thus is jobless. One of his daughters also injured in this earthquake when his own house completely demolished. One of the kids of this family was already registered in NHA during our initial survey of the area. After earthquake this family has migrated to a place known as Tumbah and are living in temporary shelters. The living condition in shelter is not suitable for the tough winter season. The kids of this family have adverse affect of this situation. After realising the positive changes in the growth of his kid studying in NHA, this disabled made a request to register his other kid during survey. After studying his genuine case his kid is registered in NHA and they are now happy in this new environment of Psycho care and quality education. Before joining NHA these kids were doing nothing except roaming aimlessly is search of some kind of assistance from the neighbor community. This disabled man is admiring the KnK/FWA effort for the support of his family.
