Abdul Rehman nicknamed as shayro is ten year old. He belongs to remote hilly area, but after earthquake family has migrated from place of origin and living in tent. This kid has uniqueness that he can not speak. He was searched out during the survey held by FWA and admitted in NHA Shinkiari. Before joining NHA he has never been to school and was suffering from the feeling of loneliness due to his inability of expression and lack of care from family. At the initial stages of selection it was decided to provide full care and attention to this kid and provide him an environment where he could found congenial surrounding. With the passage of time changes began to appear in the life of shayro. His first achievement was that now he made a contact with other kids and appears to be more expressive than before. Language, for such a kid was important and every passing day brought new vocabulary items for him and he took more interest in studying new things. Similarly he took interest in playing different games and in performing other extra curriculum activities. After developing the foundation of this kid it was decided to provide more care and he was admitted in school for special kids, where he is learning sign language and other related skills .He is still in the process of improvement under the constant watch. Such kids should be provided with certain vocational skill for the self reliance and self confident.
